Our Annual Golf Outing

This year’s event will benefit Project Type Zero (PTZ).

Project Type Zero (PTZ) is a new initiative created on behalf of the Building and Construction Trades Department and Diabetes Research Institute. Its mission is to unify the fundraising efforts of local councils around the country through increased communication and event support.

As Diabetes continues to grow, so too must our efforts. Currently 24 million Americans suffer from this disease. By unifying our efforts in support of Project Type Zero (PTZ), we are the HOPE to a diabetes free tomorrow.

There are several ways you and/or your organization may participate:
  • To play in the event will cost $100 per golfer or $380 per foursome.
  • You and/or your organization may sponsor a tee for $300. This entire $300 will be sent to Project Type Zero (PTZ). A sign with your firm=s name will be prominently displayed at the outing.
  • You and/or your organization may wish to donate a gift of your choice to the prize table. Acknowledgment of your gift will be given.

As in the past, the WBCTC Tournament pays for itself, and all fees are returned to the participants by way of prizes, food, gifts and participation in the game, therefore your fees are not tax deductible.

This year's tournament will be played on Wednesday - May 16, 2012 at Twin Shields Golf Club, Route 260, Dunkirk, Maryland. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m., with a Shotgun Start promptly at 8:30 a.m. Please make a note of the registration and starting times!

Please complete the enclosed form and return it along with your check made payable to the WBCTC/Charitable Account, to the Council Office.

Your participation in this event will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Vance Ayres
Executive Secretary-Treasurer
